Gateway for research students

David Watson, The Graduate School

Gateway is the University’s online postgraduate research management system. It provides a permanent, shared record of PGR progress for researchers, supervisors and the Graduate School. Gateway was launched in 2015-16, supporting supervision, registration, transfer, research ethics, research degree boards and research degrees committee processes. This year additional functions will be launched to support researcher skills development and event management, thesis submission and examination.

In this hour long workshop for research students, David Watson will demonstrate how to use Gateway to plan, manage and record your project progression, supervisory meetings and development.

This workshop is open to any student currently registered on a research degree programme at the University of Northampton. Further information is available from Simone Apel (simone.apel@northampton.ac.uk; 01604 893418).
